My work is rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and a deep interest in the emotional language of objects and imagery. I move fluidly between mediums, from illustration and mixed media construction to murals and sculptures, allowing each material to guide the direction of the work.
A significant shift in my creative perspective emerged after the loss of my mother, an experience that deepened my sensitivity to the ways light and shadow coexist in everyday life. This awareness continues to shape my visual language, drawing me toward moments where comfort and melancholy, vibrancy and quietude, can exist simultaneously.
Through playful color, subdued atmospheres, and expressive characters, I explore the duality inherent in human experience. Rather than adhering to a single style or discipline, I approach art-making as an ongoing process of reinvention. Each new material or technique becomes an opportunity to expand and combine my understanding of connection, memory, and emotional presence.
Ultimately, my work seeks to create spaces, whether intimate or bold, where seemingly contradictory feelings can live side by side, inviting viewers to find resonance in both the tenderness and complexity of being alive.
